“Your craftsmanship is exceptional. Your website is an afterthought.”

A homeowner searching for a bespoke kitchen in your area is making a £40,000 to £80,000 decision. Before they call anyone, they look online. They compare websites. They make a judgement about quality, credibility, and taste — in seconds, before they read a word.

The national brands — Tom Howley, Neptune, deVOL — have spent years and millions building websites that pass that test effortlessly. They rank at the top of Google, their portfolios feel like magazine shoots, and every page quietly communicates that a kitchen from them is worth the investment.

Independent studios, almost without exception, lose that comparison. Not because the work is worse. Often it’s better. But because the website, the Google ranking, and the online impression haven’t been given the same care as the cabinetry.

That’s the gap Patina Digital exists to close.

One growth engine

Three services. Built to run as one.

Most agencies will sell you a website, then an SEO retainer, then Ads management — three contracts, three specialists, three disconnected systems. Kitchen studios that buy it that way waste 30–50% of their budget on misalignment. We do all three, as one system, because each part makes the others work better.

How we work

Five stages, no surprises, everything in writing before we build.

See the detail →
  1. Discovery

A 90-minute kickoff to understand your studio, your ideal client, and your real competition.

  2. Strategy

A written strategy document that reads like a business plan, not a brochure.

  3. Build

Webflow site, new photography, SEO foundations, Ads account — in parallel.

  4. Launch

Site live, ads running, and a 30/60/90-day optimisation sprint that follows every build.

  5. Retainer

Monthly rhythm: content, reporting, conversations, and relentless improvement.

Why Patina Digital

We only work with kitchen studios. That’s not a limitation. It’s the point.

Most digital agencies will take any client they can get. They’ll build a website for a kitchen studio on Monday, a solicitor on Tuesday, a restaurant on Wednesday — and none of them particularly well, because none of them are truly understood.

We made a different decision. We work exclusively with independent bespoke kitchen studios, which means we’ve done the work most agencies never bother with: we understand the difference between in-frame and framed construction, we know why Shaker endures and what’s replaced handleless as the 2026 specification of choice, we’ve studied how deVOL built a content strategy that turned a Leicestershire workshop into an internationally recognised brand.

When you brief us, you’re not explaining your industry from scratch. You’re talking to people who already know it.

We’re also early — which means the studios who work with us now get an attention and a rate that won’t be available forever.

In their words

What kitchen studios say when they stop looking for generalists.

Archie spent the first call talking about the difference between in-frame and framed construction, and why shaker doors age better than handleless. Every agency I'd spoken to before then wanted to know my Instagram followers. It was the first time I felt like someone understood what we actually do.

The strategy document he put together before we even signed a contract was better than anything my previous agency delivered in a year. It read like a business plan, not a brochure.

Investment

Three tiers. One commercial situation each.

Rolling monthly after a twelve-month minimum. Cancel with thirty days’ notice. We don’t write contracts that outlast results.

Foundation

£2,200 one-off

£550 per month

12–18 pages

Studios establishing their digital foundation before investing in paid acquisition.

A new website built around your portfolio and your ideal client, on-page SEO across every page, Google Business Profile fully optimised, and a monthly retainer covering local SEO maintenance, site updates, and a transparent performance report. No paid advertising at this tier — foundations first, paid media when the foundations are earning.

Most popular

Growth

£4,000 one-off

£1,250 per month

25–40 pages

Studios competing for market share across a region.

Everything in Foundation, plus additional location and treatment landing pages, two pieces of content per month, Google Ads management, dedicated landing pages per ad group, and lead response automation so no enquiry goes cold. Where most studios land once foundations are producing enquiries.

Retainer includes Google Ads management at £500/month minimum or 15% of ad spend, whichever is higher. Retainer adjusts upward for accounts spending more than ~£3,300/month.

Dominance

£7,500 one-off

£2,550 per month

40+ pages

Studios targeting category leadership in their region — £1M+ revenue ambitions.

Everything in Growth, plus digital PR outreach targeting five placements per quarter, full CRO programme, and bi-weekly strategy cadence (one video, one call). Custom interactive elements, multi-audience architecture, and full photography coordination across two to four shoot days. Contractual territorial exclusivity — no competing studio signed in the same town.

Retainer includes Google Ads management at the same £500/month minimum or 15% of ad spend rate. Retainer adjusts upward for accounts spending more than ~£3,300/month.

How our pricing scales with your ambition

The three tiers reflect three commercial situations, not three quality levels. Every site we build meets the same standards — Core Web Vitals, WCAG 2.2 AA, full tracking, validated schema. The difference is surface area: how many pages, how much content, how much paid media, how deep we go on photography and CRO.

Foundation is for studios establishing their digital presence properly before investing in ads. Growth is where most studios land — a site, an SEO footprint, and a paid search engine running together. Dominance is for studios with £1M+ revenue ambitions who want to own their region.

Ad spend sits outside the retainer. You pay Google directly. We take no markup, ever. Management fees scale with spend so small accounts aren’t overcharged and large accounts get properly resourced.

Where we work

The UK South Coast, from Brighton to Bournemouth.

Based in Brighton, currently working with studios between Brighton and Bournemouth. We’ll expand geographically as our capacity does — deliberately, not opportunistically.

One agency per town. Once a studio’s on our books, that territory is closed.

Questions we’re asked

The honest answers, before you ask.

  • The three tiers map to three commercial situations, not three quality levels. Foundation is for studios establishing their digital presence properly before investing in paid ads — a website plus local SEO, no Google Ads yet. Growth is where most studios land: a site, an SEO footprint, and a paid search engine running together as one system. Dominance is for studios with £1M+ revenue ambitions who want to own their region — everything in Growth plus digital PR, full CRO, and bi-weekly strategy. Every site we build meets the same standards regardless of tier. The difference is surface area: how many pages, how much content, how much paid media, how deep we go on photography and CRO.

  • Foundation is website + local SEO + Google Business Profile. No paid advertising. It's for studios who want to establish their digital foundations properly before spending on ads — or studios who aren't yet ready for the commitment paid media implies. Growth adds Google Ads management, two content pieces per month, additional location and treatment landing pages, and lead response automation. It's the integrated three-service system — the point at which website, SEO, and ads start feeding each other and compounding. Most studios land here once Foundation has proven the channel for them.

  • Yes. Studios often start on Foundation to validate the digital channel, then upgrade to Growth once the foundations are producing enquiries and the commercial case for Ads is clear. When you upgrade, the build scope and retainer fee adjust to match the new tier — we add the extra pages, content, and Ads account, and the monthly retainer moves to the Growth level. No penalty, no rebuild from scratch.

  • Google Ads management is included in the Growth and Dominance retainers at £500 per month minimum, or 15% of monthly ad spend, whichever is higher. This keeps the relationship fair at both ends: small accounts aren’t overcharged for minimum-viable management, and large accounts get properly resourced as spend grows. Ad spend itself is paid directly to Google, never through us, with no markup. Our incentive is to run the account efficiently, not to inflate the budget.

  • Timeline depends on tier. Foundation sites (Essential build) launch in 4–5 weeks. Growth sites (Signature build) launch in 6–8 weeks. Dominance sites (Flagship build) — which include full interiors photography coordination across 2–4 shoot days plus custom interactive elements — launch in 10–14 weeks. Anyone quoting a bespoke kitchen studio site with photography in under 6 weeks is either doing rushed work or skipping the photography step. Honest timelines beat missed deadlines.

  • Cost-per-lead typically stabilises at £85–£150 after 90 days of optimisation. The first 60 days usually run higher while the account is calibrated, negatives are built out, and bid strategies train on conversion data. Best-in-class mature accounts reach £45–£85 CPL, but we only quote that range once we’ve got you there — not as a promise on day one.

  • For a bespoke kitchen studio on the South Coast, expect a measurable lift in local rankings within three to five months and meaningful commercial impact in month five to nine. Anyone promising faster is either working on brand terms you already rank for, or telling you what you want to hear. The retainer is priced on that honest timeline, not a shorter one.

  • Currently no. Deliberately. Patina Digital is a specialist agency for bespoke kitchen studios on the UK South Coast — based in Brighton, working between Brighton and Bournemouth. We'll expand geographically as our capacity does, but not by taking on studios we can't properly visit, photograph, or represent to local press. If you're a kitchen studio elsewhere in the UK and the fit is otherwise strong, we'll refer you to someone trustworthy rather than take work we can't do well.

  • Because the difference between a good result and a great one is made up of a hundred details that only matter if you know the industry. The vocabulary (in-frame, framed, handleless, shaker), the buyer archetypes (renovator-homeowner, self-builder, developer, interior designer), the price psychology, the sales cycle, the way deVOL built a content strategy that turned a Leicestershire workshop into an internationally-known brand — these aren't things a generalist agency learns in a week. We've done the homework so you don't spend your first three meetings teaching us.

  • You do. The domain stays in your name, the CMS login is yours, and you can take the site elsewhere at any time. We don't believe in hostage-taking contracts, and we won't build on a platform that locks you in.

  • The retainer has a 60-day notice period after the initial 12-month minimum term. Website build is paid in three stages and fully yours once delivered. The only lock-in is the minimum term on the retainer, which exists because SEO genuinely does take four to six months to produce anything worth reporting on.

  • It's not a dealbreaker, but we'll be honest with you about it on the first call. A beautifully-designed site sitting on top of iPhone kitchen photos still reads as cheap — and your quoted prices look unearned. Our standard advice is to budget £1,200–£3,000 per day for a proper interiors shoot before the build kicks off. If that's not workable, we'll tell you, and sometimes we'll recommend waiting a quarter to reshoot rather than launching with what you have.
